ab3c9202ff test: run example corpus in zig build test; sx ir → stdout
`zig build test` now runs the full examples/ + issues/ regression corpus
alongside the Zig unit tests, driven by a pure-Zig test
(src/corpus_run.test.zig) — no shell script in the build path. It spawns
the installed `sx` per example (subprocess-isolated, per-run timeout),
diffs stdout/stderr/exit and optional `sx ir` snapshots, and fails the
build on any mismatch. The file list is enumerated at runtime, so new
examples are covered with no test edit.

- `sx ir` / `ir-dump` now write to stdout (fd 1) instead of stderr, so
  the dumps can be piped/redirected.
- `zig build test -Dupdate-goldens` regenerates snapshots in-build,
byte-identical to the legacy `run_examples.sh --update`; on mismatch
the runner prints how to regenerate.
- run_examples.sh kept (still used by tools/verify-step.sh) and made
portable to a bare macOS: timeout/gtimeout fallback, bash 3.2-safe
  empty-array handling.
- CLAUDE.md: document the new workflow.

795ce3dc7d test(runner): make example suite checkout-location independent
Diagnostics embed the absolute source path, but normalize() only scrubbed
hex addresses, so expected snapshots baked in the canonical checkout path
(/Users/agra/projects/sx/...). The suite only passed when run from that exact
directory; from a git worktree all 44 path-printing diagnostics mismatched.

Collapse any absolute `.../examples/` or `.../issues/` prefix to the repo-
relative form. The rule runs through normalize(), which is applied identically
to both expected and actual output, so it can only reconcile path noise — it
cannot desync an otherwise-matching pair. No snapshots regenerated.

Suite now reports 350 passed / 0 failed from a worktree as well as the
canonical tree.

4e942b5373 test: migrate examples to XXXX-category-name layout + split expected streams
Rename all example tests/companions to the XXXX-category-test-name scheme
(per-category 100-blocks: basic 0010, types 0100, ... errors 1000,
diagnostics 1100, ffi 1200, ffi-objc 1300, ffi-jni 1400, vectors 1500,
platform 1600). Companions and dir/C fixtures move in lockstep with their
parent test; #import/#source/#include paths rewritten to match.

Expected output now lives in examples/expected/ (a sibling dir of the
tests) split into three streams per the new convention:
  <name>.exit / <name>.stdout / <name>.stderr (+ optional <name>.ir)

run_examples.sh rewritten: scans examples/ and issues/ for an
expected/<name>.exit marker, captures stdout and stderr separately (no
more 2>&1), compares each stream + exit + optional IR snapshot.

Behavior validated unchanged: every renamed test reproduces its prior
merged output + exit (diffs limited to file paths/basenames embedded in
diagnostics + traces, which correctly reflect the new names). Suite:
292 passed, 0 failed. 50-smoke.sx split + issue relocation + docs follow
in subsequent commits.

26a04e49d0 tests: IR-snapshot harness — diff sx ir output when .ir present
run_examples.sh now supports an optional `tests/expected/<name>.ir`
sibling to `.txt`/`.exit`. When present, the runner also captures
`sx ir <file>` output, normalizes target-/host-specific noise
(module ID, target triple/datalayout, attribute groups, LLVM's
auto-suffixed %temp numbering), and diffs against the snapshot.
`--update` regenerates it alongside the runtime output.

Catches lowering changes that don't affect what the program prints
— exactly the shape Phase 1.5's selector interning will produce
(same runtime output, very different IR).

First snapshot: `ffi-objc-call-03-selector-sharing.ir`. Today the
test emits four `call ptr @sel_registerName(ptr @str.N)` lines for
its four call sites; after 1.5 we expect two static
`@OBJC_SELECTOR_REFERENCES_<sel>` globals + loads at each call
site. The diff between the two snapshots will be the visible
artifact of the optimization.
